I regularly get emails from senders who place a very long list of recipients in the "To-field". Often these recipients are members of a board of a journal or society, members of a SIG (Special Interest Group) of an association, a colleague with an open position somewhere who wants to advertise it, and so on (Yeesterday I received on with more than 100 names in the To-field!).

Receiving such emails annoy me for a number of reasons.
